The 29-year-old How to Get Away with Murder and Orange is the New Black actor stars in a new video for Funny or Die in which he plays a fitness guru whose family died from jumping on the trampoline. His program is made to help you conquer the fear of death by trampoline in only 10,000 jumps. Unfortunately for Matt‘s character, things don’t exactly go well in the end. Watch above! There are songs about trampolines by pop artists like Kalin and Myles. There are also trampoline songs by hip-hop acts like Tiny Tempah and Kstylis. But trampolines did not get a case of the blues till Chris Pierce aka Reverend Tall Tree released "Static Trampoline". We happen to be big fans of good Blues music because it is the finest example of good ol' American soul music. Thankfully, if you live in the Los Angeles area, you can catch Reverend Tall Tree performing with the Blackstrap Brothers in some very intimate clubs. It seemed like an ordinary Tuesday afternoon for Penny Phillip until her 350 pound pig got loose.
"He chased me up on the trampoline and he was trying to get up there," said Phillip. An electric fence placed around the Phillip family farm in Fountain didn't seem to bother their 6 month old nameless pig. "It's funny," Penny's son, Johnathan Phillip, said. After being startled by the farm horses, the porker managed to jump the four-and-a-half foot electric fence. "The horses spooked him," Phillip said. "And he just jumped over fence." That's when Phillip says she jumped onto her children's trampoline. "I thought he'd calm down and maybe wouldn't be so spooked but I was waiting and he just wasn't moving," she said. She says she tried everything to get the pig to leave. "Yelled at him and told him to move," said Phillip. "And then he went underneath it and was poking his nose on it." The pig then dug a hole and camped out making sure she didn't go anywhere. After two hours of waiting, Phillip had no other choice but to call for help. Phillip said the Bay County Sheriff's Office responded to the call and deputies grabbed a stick to steer the pig back into the fenced area. "I was behind him pushing him and the officer was behind me pushing me and we just pushed him in there," said Phillip. This wasn't the first time the 350 pound pig made it over the fence and into the yard. "Last time he trapped me on the trampoline, and this time he did it to her," Penny's daughter, Valerie, said. The Phillip family believes the pig enjoys trapping the household females, "Because he needs a girlfriend," Valerie said. Johnathan doesn't believe that will happen anytime soon. "The pig's dirty," he said. We last caught up with the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when they were shooting the first TMNT movie in the streets of NYC. Megan Fox was jumping on a trampoline in spandex and looking super hot doing it. Well, Megan Fox and the Turtles are back for a sequel coming out this summer. It will be directed by Michael Bay so expect lots of outlandish explosions and not much storyline. Some of us are just looking forward to seeing Megan Fox on the big screen again. Take a look at the trailer and a few shots taken from the set of the movie. Introducing the latest extreme sport, trampoline wall. The sport is being championed by an amazing extreme athlete named Christophe Hamel. His amazing trampoline stunts and jumps have been a YouTube sensation for the last few years. Viewers are absolutely amazed at how Christophe is able to complete feats of gravity with pinpoint precision. We cannot recommend trying anything shown in the video. The stunts were done by a professional with years of training and are extremely dangerous.
We are approaching the holidays and we couldn't think of a better way to share the holiday spirit than to share this adorable video of Wild Foxes jumping on someone's backyard trampoline. Some of you may have already seen this video as it is an oldie but still a goodie. As the saying goes, "crazy like a fox". Well these wild foxes are crazy in the very best way. We know another famous fox that loves to jump on a trampoline. Megan Fox jumping on a trampoline has to be one of our all time favorites. Trampolines Los Angeles last caught up with Justin Bieber when we installed a backyard trampoline in his Calabasas home. Most recently the pop star was seen on a different trampoline with girl pal Kendall Jenner. The two celebrities have been very cozy for many years now and sources say that they might have an on again, off again relationship. Kendall's older sis Kim Kardashian also has a passion for trampolines as you can see in one of her earlier trampoline photo shoots below. Of course, that was prior to becoming a mom. We want to see Kim Kardashian with daughter North West jumping together on a trampoline. Heck, get Kanye West onto the trampoline too. Maybe he will finally crack a smile for a change. We love seeing celebrities on trampolines. It seems that no matter how rich and famous some of these celebrities are, they always gravitate (pun intended) towards the pure joy of jumping on a trampoline. The latest celebrity to partake and hop onto a backyard trampoline is the Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé. During a break on her and husband Jay Z's On the Run Tour, the pair, along with their 3-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, took some time out for a little Rest and Relaxation -- and the Queen Bey gave her legion of fans an inside peek into her private family life as Bouncing Beyoncé and daughter are seen on a trampoline. The singing beauty that rarely gives interviews took to her website to share several images of the trip, where they're seen living it up and spending some quality time together. Our favorite shot? Bey holding on to Blue Ivy, as she jumps on a trampoline. Safety took a backseat in this shot as the trampoline is missing the safety net. We hope it was only to get the unobstructed shot of Beyonce and daughter Blue Ivy and that the safety net is usually installed.  Beyonce and Blue Ivy Jumping on a Trampoline Kacy Catanzaro is an amazing athlete on American Ninja Warrior that has managed to build a very loyal fan base on the show. She is 5ft tall and weighs only 90lbs but she manages to do things on American Ninja Warrior that defy physical logic. Check out our past post on Kacy Catanzaro.
She recently competed on Stage 1 of the Las Vegas Finals on American Ninja Warrior and had an unfortunate fall after missing a jump on the mini trampoline. There is obviously a huge amount of pressure on Kacy as a result of her recent launch to fame and we think that this might have played a role in her performance in Las Vegas. We here at Trampolines Los Angeles love seeing Kacy Catanzaro on American Ninja Warrior and hope that she makes a comeback next season. Go Kacy! |
