Trampoline athletes competing on the olympic level will do specific strength training workouts using weights, pulleys and bands. Such workouts will further enhance their abilities on the trampoline and allow them to soar higher, maintain better control when performing complex routines.
Trampoline debuted in the 2000 Sydney Olympics as a separate gymnastics event, where individuals perform acrobatic movements in the air while bouncing on a sping-bound bed (trampoline).
On the Men's side. China's Dong Dong is the Men's World Trampoline champion. He won a Gold medal at the 2012 London Olympic games.
