There are many things in life that are seemingly random and unrelated yet go together really well. Peanut butter and jelly, a hot summer day and a cold ice tea, salt and pepper (seasoning and 90's hip hop girl group). We think that girls and trampolines are similar. Even more so, Girls Jumping on Trampolines. To further illustrate this point, we decided to see if we can come up with other pairings that might go together well or fail miserably. For comedic purposes, we decided to swap with words and phrases that rhyme with trampoline(s). Check out the slideshow to see some of our favorites:
Summer is finally upon us and the latest trampoline craze is trampoline summer camp!
Just as you have gotten used to Indoor Trampoline Parks popping up everywhere, now there is a new trampoline craze sweeping the nation. Trampoline Summer Camp is a fun way for your child to spend their summer break from school. This summer camp is not only fun but also a healthy way to keep your child active and engaged in social activities with other children.
Trampoline Summer Camps are no longer limited to only training hopeful Olympians. Many of these programs have opened their doors to the general population and are becoming quite popular around the country. This phenomenon can be attributed to numerous factors. First and foremost, the overall popularity of trampolines over the past decade and the emergence of indoor trampoline parks. Another factor is the marketability of the trampoline summer camps. After all, do you suppose your child would prefer to spend their summer break at a "fat camp" or "trampoline camp"? We think there is a clear winner here!
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Parks are offering two Summer Camp options: Half day or full day programs. The Trampoline Summer camps are aptly named SkyCamp. Locations are in Riverside, Covina and Van Nuys.
Freestyle America offers a variety of Trampoline and BagJump camp programs all summer long. The Trampoline Summer Camps are held in gorgeous New Hampshire.
The 90's, a decade known for ripped jeans, Grunge Rock and 'Girls on Trampolines'. Yes, I said, girls on trampolines. Before Jimmy Kimmel was a late night host, he co-hosted a very memorable show aptly named "The Man Show". His co-host was funnyman Adam Corolla, who is well known for his funny rants on society's downfalls. The show and the hosts were unapologetic for the show's mantra. This was a show for men.
The Man Show simultaneously celebrated and lampooned the stereotypical loutish male perspective in a sexually charged, humorous light. The show consisted of a variety of pre-recorded comedy sketches and live in-studio events, usually requiring audience participation. The Man Show is particularly well-known for its "Girls on Trampolines" segment.
As the saying goes, save the best for last. The memorable segment of the show, 'Girls on Trampolines', was always left to the very end. Watching the girls jumping on the trampolines, it was obvious how much fun they were having. Anyone that has ever experienced the unadulterated enjoyment of jumping on a trampoline will tell you there is nothing quite like it. Jumping on a trampoline is like tricking gravity for split-seconds at a time. So, forget about your troubles and get yourself a trampoline. Here's a video remix that matches perfectly with the title of DJ Chuckie's song "Who Is Ready To Jump". Watch and enjoy!
